Do I have any chance

Can you monkeys here plz help me.. I'm a bit lost.

Background Info:

Rising senior here at a semi-target school (think UVA, UMich, etc)
Major: Finance & Accounting
GPA: 3.3
WE: PWM sophomore year summer, Deloitte BTA summer analyst junior year summer (IT Consulting)

After this summer interning at Deloitte BTA, I realized I want something more intense, fast-faced, deal-driven, that would teach me hard, marketable skill-set. While I got a return offer for Deloitte, I honestly do not wish to go back and plan to actively look around for something 'front-office'-ish.

I realize my stats / background aren't too impressive for IBD, but I really want to give myself the best shot. Are there any decent banks that hire for FT? What specific steps should I take now to secure any interviews?

Please advise..

Network extremely hard right now - go all out. Have a very good story about why not consulting and why banking. Make sure you have your technicals down cold.

Thx for the feedback. Should I start by cold calling/ cold emailing alumni at banks? Do I find them on LinkedIn for the most part?

Once I 'network' (call/ email) alumni and make a relationship, what's the next step? do I ask them to hand my resume over to HR so I can get an interview?

haven't had much success with networking so far, so I want to know how to do it right

I think you have a decent shot, given that you have some impressive and interesting extracurricular activities on your resume in addition to the work experiences. Going to one of those 'semi-targets' (UVA and UMich are more like targets) makes a huge difference.

Networking outside of OCR might be difficult now because things have pretty much started. It's also difficult to have someone go the bat for you in such a short period of time. I would network ahead of time with those you know for sure are coming to your campus and continue doing that once they're on campus.
