Offers after a Superday
Curious if all offers are typically given out at the same time. Is it typical for offers to all be given all on one day, or is it possible for some to be given day of and some a couple days later?

Career Resources
To my knowledge, some firms will send out an initial round of offers and keep a few candidates on a formal or informal waitlist. If certain candidates from the first "offer round" do not accept, then the firm will reach out to the waitlist people maybe a week or two later. Happened to me.
Do we get response after final round even no offer? (Originally Posted: 11/07/2012)
Hi
I had my Oracle final round in Reston VA about 3 weeks ago and my KPMG IT consultant final round in Mclean about 2 weeks ago but hear nothing from them. From their recruiter, they said it is going to be pretty quick to make a decision.
Do they send a reject letter if no offer? Since I have not heard anything, does that means they are still working on it? I emailed recruiter but no response either.
Anyone has the experience ?
thanks
If they are turning you down they will notify you. Call the recruiter/HR person or contact that you have at the firms
Yeah, if it's been two weeks, call them and leave a message...I know how incredibly frustrating it is for companies to not get back to you within the timeframe they indicated.
They may have offered it to someone else and are waiting on if they accept or not to notify you. If they do not accept, you may be second in line. This is often the case when it takes too long. Hang in there.

Had a sophomore superday at a large IB last Friday. Haven't heard anything back yet. The HR person said at the end that it will take two weeks. Does the fact that I have not heard mean anything or should I expect to wait full two weeks? I know some companies, especially for juniors, call you back on the same day.
This question is asked like 5 times every day. Do a freakin search.
I think they treat sophomores differently though (?). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't heard of any sophomores getting a call the day of their superday. It seems like it's mostly juniors getting immediate notification.
Can anyone else speak to this?
