Do you Support Trumps Tweeting Habits

I was surprised when I saw a headline earlier today on CNBC (link)stating that 69% of Americans called Trumps twitter habit a bad thing. Not that I really believe the accuracy of these polls after everything that happened in 2016, but does this strong of a majority of people disagree with his tweeting? Do you support it?

A robust 69 percent majority called it a bad thing for a president, "because in an instant, messages can have unintended major implications without careful review."

In a separate question about various actions Trump takes, just 9 percent offered strong support for his use of Twitter. Another 17 percent called it "acceptable," but 55 percent said they strongly opposed it.

The media is pushing the narrative that his tweeting is dangerous not because it actually is but because it circumvents their perception that they are the gatekeepers of all information.

Don't think it is dangerous as much as it is irresponsible. The most powerful person in the world should not be making off-the-cuff statements on international and domestic policy. It doesn't help that he often uses it to spread misinformation. Of course, people who support Trump will (predictably) disagree, I'd be saying the same if it were Bernie or HRC or Romney or Bush or Obama or Gary Johnson.

I didn't say it isn't irresponsible, I said it isn't dangerous. But the media is so fixated on this because it threatens their business model, they couldn't care less about the global implications of his tweeting.

I support him bypassing the media, although I think he should stop going after direct people or companies. Like he should promote his message, but I'm not sure if I want Trump attacking citizens as a President.

That being said, Trump has always twittered and Obama set precedence with wanting a blackberry and doing his YouTube videos. Technology marches on and eventually we will have a president who uses technology.

BTW fuck mainstream media. Biased, salty fuckers. They did this by lying and manipulating the news. If they just reported and remained neutral my feelings would be way different.

The polling averages had HRC winning by ~4%, she won the popular vote by ~2%, well within the margin of error. Trump won in key states by such thin margins that it was extremely difficult to predict such an outcome. I understand the polling was wrong on the electoral/ state level but let's not behave as if we should completely dismiss polling. No idea what Russia has to do with this....

Maybe that's the point. He is going out of his way to destroy the credibility of the media, they are hanging onto his every character. The average person reads his tweet and laughs at it, butt hurt adult children cry over his tweets and the media reports on everyone of them to their own peril.

He's the leader of the free world and uses twitter to personally attack people who voice dissent about him, to vaguely and irresponsibly attack companies that he doesn't seem to know anything about, and to push fringe websites that are outwardly racist. I guess dangerous might not be the right word, but you can be damn sure I disapprove of the leader of my country using social media to look like a thin skinned, ill informed, bigot.

Then again, those are the exact qualities common among his base, so I shouldn't be surprised.

I don't have a problem with him wanting to tweet all the time. But there are certain things he needs to stop - such as calling people losers because they lost their election here or there. And anytime he makes fun of people.

Tweet - get your thoughts out, don't attack others. You are now the POTUS, time to act like it.

I think the public is still warming up to the idea of Trump as president. I also think that Trump is warming up to the idea of being president and having to be responsible for the country.

If Trump can execute while avoiding WWIII, which despite my third party vote and my feelings on Nov. 8th I now think he'll be able to pull off, people will like him and like his twitter account.

If nothing else, the folks on conservative talk radio have been ragging about populist conservative principals for the past 30 years. Whether you think they're geniuses or bozos, we deserve to have the opportunity to see what it looks like and where it's taking the country for 3-4 years. Trump's twitter account gives the public unfiltered access to him without the "liberal media" to get in the way.

I love everyone worrying about WWIII with Trump, yet those same people believe Russia hacked up and supporte the neoconservatives and their March toward war. What a joke.

Hillary advocated for a no fly zone which would have put us in direct conflict with Russia. Obama is sending troops and tanks to Poland. Trumps the best chance we have against going to war.

God, people are so brainwashed.

Nato is obsolete and alliances are what always gets us into war.

And I'm going to assume your last part is a typo because war with Russia or any other real power would be horrible. The USA has spilled far too much blood not protecting this country. I'm sick of it and we all should be.

If you want to understand what is causing the destablization of Eastern Europe look no further than this woman, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Nuland she is the one who riled up protesters and caused them to turn violent. She is the one who in the last week of the Obama administration was trying to get Turkey and Greece to turn their decades long grudge over cypress into an actual combat zone.

Aggressive actions beget aggressive actions, if NATO is determined to carry out war exercises on the Russian border, and by Russian border I mean roughly 40 miles from a major Russian city, I don't blame them at all for taking aggressive actions because of that. Everyone has this idea that America and her allies can do no wrong, and essentially push aside any aggressive action they take and call it "defensive maneuvers". Its not defensive and any person who isn't an idiot or has their head so far up the new world orders ass can't look at the situation objectively. As @TNA" has said if Russia was putting missile batteries in Mexico America would be pretty pissed. For fucks sake look at what happened during the Cuban missile crisis.

My favorite comment recently was on Don Lemons show, they were talking about Steve Harvey taking a meeting with Trump and called him a "mediocre negro".

I agree with @TNA" . I generally don't have a problem with him tweeting (Obama has a Twitter, too, after all), but I think that the way he does it (tweets fired off at random hours, attacking Americans and American companies for sometimes strange reasons) could be a major problem. I definitely think he needs an editor.

Also, this article is pretty perfect for this:
