Does anyone know what classes count towards major gpa?
I'm looking at my grade audit for my school, and its broken up into a few categories which I listed below. Am I correct to just calculate the Major requirements classes? Also a few of my classes were transferred over, and I was wondering if I am required to list them for this #?
Difference w/o counting: 3.76
With counting transfers: 3.58
Reason I want to list it on my gpa, is because my cumalative gpa is only 3.5, due to a few science classes that I bombed.

So I'm going to go with the higher number, since the difference is only 3 classes: calculus(C), macroecon(A), microecon(A).

I would recommend asking the career center on an issue like this. Although it would be nice to use the higher GPA, you do not want to be in a borderline situation where a potential employer will question your ethics.
