Something else: My school is thinking about adding The Black Swan to the reading list for a humanities class. The man reaches far further than finance.

 

The book is cheap as hell, just buy it. Just finished it myself--great read. He goes a bit overboard at times (as you can imagine from his other writings), but it is still one of the best books I've read. It is required reading in the training program where I work.

 

It's like $60-70, that's not particularly cheap.
