did it once. i called the HR and asked them to replace my resume with a new typo-free one. got i rejection letter about 2 weeks ago. im not implying any correlations (probably im simply not a strong candidate). it just happened.
Don't worry about it. I doubt people will notice. Just change it for future submissions.
"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."
If your resume is compelling enough you should still get a call but you have to remember that you are applying for positions that require a high level of attention to detail so you are already off on the wrong foot. People make mistakes but not people who want to work in finance.
It's already sent, what can worrying possibly do aside from make you act like a chicken with its head cut off? I strongly advise you to never think about it again. And here's why:
The very first finance position I applied to was an ER position at a top firm where I live. A buddy of mine is well connected with the S&T MD, who took my resume and dropped it on the ER MD's desk. The ER MD told the S&T MD that he would be calling me the following day. When I got news at the end of the business day I was pumped.
I then noticed that I had (what I thought was) a glaring error at 6AM the following morning. I had put together the resume on really short notice, I noticed that I didn't specify the year I graduated... at this point I had 4 years of industry exp outside of finance. In retrospect I realize it's not a big deal, but at the time I panicked, fixed it along with a few other things, and sent an email directly to the ER MD (cc'd the S&T MD) with an updated resume and a quick 2 paragraph cover letter which I thought was pithy (I even included the phrase: "I know you must be busy, so I will err on the side of brevity." I thought it was clever at the time... lesson to everyone: if you're going to send a cover letter, never cheap out on it. Send a proper, full 9-yard cover letter)
I showered, checked my email, then re-read my new resume... fuck me sideways, a new even more blatant error?! I put a year down as "202," instead of a typical 4-digit year as any functional human being would. Oh, and what's this... I didn't cc the S&T MD, I accidentally pulled the wrong email off of their website and cc'd one of their research associates. I looked at the clock, it just turned 6:20AM. I managed to fuck up a shoo-in within the first 20 minutes of being up. gg no re.

It's also "bachelor" not "bachelors" I believe.
