Edmond de Rothschild reputation on wallstreet?

Hey Guys,

I have the possibility of interning as an analyst at Emond de Rothschild this summer in Europe. I wanted to know if any of you could give me some insight on its reputation on wall street. What tier is this seen as? Whats its reputation? etc.

Thanks!

I only know the part of the group called LCF Edmond de Rothschold (La Compagnie Financiere Edmond de Rothschild). They have offices in London and Paris although I think London is quite small (might also be other countries).

They do asset management (including PE), M&A and private banking.

On the M&A side they target tho the mid-market but also have some larger clients. I think they do most of their deals in France. We looked at a small deal in France last year (currently work in business development) and they were sell-side advisors. I think it was one of their regional offices (not Paris) that handled the deal because it was small. Although I can't say much about them, I do remember that the CIM was pretty ugly...

Hope this helps. If you have some questions I might be able to answer.

This is pretty informative, thanks.

Do you know anything about their securities business in London? Is it geared towards private or institutional clients?
