Figuring out how to end an email can sometimes be challenging, since you don't want to come off as too casual, pretentious, overly formal, etc. According to a few business etiquette professionals and career coaches these are some sign-offs that should generally be avoided:

The safest and most versatile choice seems to be "Best."
For the most part I agree with the list, though I do find myself using thanks quite a bit depending on the situation. Do you guys have any general guidelines you follow, or do you just tend to stick with the basics?
I typically use "Thanks" or "Regards" and depending on the situation I sometimes use "Best Regards" or "All the Best".
