Emerging Markets Generalist Interview

I'm interviewing with a emerging markets asset manager with 100B+ in AUM for a Junior ER position doing the standard grunt work. After reviewing the funds the PM manages, appears they are value investors doing fundamental analysis on emerging market positions. Funds are fairly actively managed.

I'm interviewing with the PM and the Sr. Analyst. I myself have no real ER experience or finance experience. I am a CFA Level III candidate and work in accounting.

I've done extensive reading on ER interviews and prepping for the standard HR/behavioral questions. Anything I should consider thinking about before the interview?

My biggest concerns are asking about my position on certain country macro views or stock pitches on EM stocks (which I don't really follow). My plan is to have some high level bullets to regurgitate on certain countries they appear to be overweight vs benchmark in their portfolios.

In terms of pitches, I am looking at their portfolios largest concentrated position. Good idea or bad idea to try and get my hands on research for some of these positions and pitch one of those stocks? Or should I pitch something they have no clue about? Almost certain they will ask me to pitch a stock so I am not sure how to approach, but can certainly throw something together.

Any insight very much appreciated. Thanks!
