It’s almost like an Etch-a-Sketch – you can kind of shake it up, and we start all over again.
Cue outrage.
Both former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich could immediately be seen toting Etch-a-Sketches on the campaign trail — a visible (and inexpensive!) symbol, they argued, of Romney’s lack of core conservative convictions. A Santorum aide was handing out mini Etch-a-Sketches to reporters at a Romney event this afternoon in Maryland.

Romney himself didn't say it, and he has the nomination won already. I'm curious how long this will stay in the news cycle.
As opposed to every other politician? I'm not even a Romney fan, but seriously, that's it? Etch a sketch is the name of the game.

This was at the top of my Google News page. This is big news? Um, no, I couldnt give a shit, and neither does most of the country.
Unfortunately I think most of the country doesn't care about most of the stuff that the media considers "big news."
I think most reasonable people would say that Romney has had to say/do things to gain the attraction of voters to the right of where his political beliefs are in this primary season. And I think most reasonable people would expect Romney to run a more centrist campaign in the Summer/Fall.
