EY Operational Transaction Services - Perception?
Did a search on WSO, and I couldn't find much new detail. I'm already a management consultant at a mid-size firm (think somewhere in the top 20 on Vault), and I have an opportunity to interview with the EY Operational Transaction Services team. I have a pretty good understanding of what they do (PMO, merger integration, Day 1-100 planning), but I'd like to get some perspective on how it's perceived within the firm and in the industry. Do they consistently win work? And I imagine most exit opps are corp dev positions, but can anyone confirm?
Im in it, pretty cool stuff done on a daily basis. good balance between finance and strategy/operations. very high growth
Can I ask a couple of follow-up questions that might be awkward to ask during interview phase?
1- Travel? 2- Are you guys winning consistent work (you guys are in a competitive space)? 3- How are the hours?
Appreciate any responses you might have. Thanks!
EY TAS - Operational Transaction Services work/hours/pay/etc? (Originally Posted: 10/10/2013)
Anyone know anything about this group? Type of work/hours/pay/etc?
Also curious.
Well respected within Big 4. Easier to make a jump to FO from a group like this that Audit or anything. Comp and work/life balance reflect the middle of the road prestige (I'd say better than back office).
In BO: prestige low. Work/life balance good. Comp low. Exit Ops low FO: prestige high. Work/life balance sucks. Comp high. Exit ops high I'd say TAS in b/w these two in all respects
Info/Advice on EY's TAS OTS Group? (Originally Posted: 10/19/2017)
I recently got an offer for EY's Operational Transaction Services group within their TAS division, and wanted to learn more about the general job progression, salary, as well as potential exit opps. It seems like a lot of good exposure to consulting on M&A from the operational standpoint but I'm not sure if its what I want long term. Any information or advice would be helpful!

Hey zootiezoot, do you mind sharing the offer details if you don't mind. I had a final round interview with EY OTS group within TAS last week and I'm curios what the offer will be as there are conflicting salary info on glassdoor and other sites. Btw, I interviewed for a Senior Consultant position. What about you?

Hi all,
I have a question regarding EY's OTS division. Can someone shed a light on what do they exactly do? and what kind of questions to expect during interviews? Can someone with very little experience in IB can get into it?
Hi Black_Bond, don't worry, the WSO Monkey Bot is here.... I'm hoping one of these links will help find your answer:

Hope that helps.
