EY TAS OTS Group

I have been stuck in the world of IT auditing for a while now, going on 6 years. I have an opportunity to interview for a job with EY's TAS Operational Transaction Services group, which does integration consulting on M&A activity, or at least that's how I interpret their offerings. Anyone know what experienced TAS OTS Seniors or Manager make in New York? Also, is this seen as a prestigious job in consulting? What do people typically do after working in integration for 4 to 5 years? Any feedback or advice is appreciated.

I'm a mere auditor, so take my word with a grain of salt. First, no, if you're worried about prestige, EY (and any non-Deloitte Consulting gigs in the Big 4) don't seem to be considered as prestigious, that's just my take from this board, talking to buddies in the industry, etc.

That said, EY gets some pretty significant integration projects, so I'd expect you could build a good skill set, and exit opportunities seem to be good, but hopefully someone else can give you more specifics, again that's just based on speaking to friends in TAS. Can't help on the salary, no idea.

But based on your background and without knowing anything else, this sounds like a good opportunity. Good luck
