Fewer SA spots and more FT spots in IBD in Hong Kong?
I heard that, unlike in the US where typically BBs hire many more SAs than they offer FT positions to, in Hong Kong there are actually more FT positions (or at least you are not as screwed if you didn't intern at a BB over the summer). Can anyone familiar with HK recruitment confirm/refute this? Many thanks.

Some BBs usually hire more interns that FT positions they can hire in the US. To the OP, it seems correct, as I've seen quite a number of positions open at BBs in Asia after the SA program. But this varies from bank to bank.
