Finishing Masters feel lost

Hi all,
I am finishing my masters in a year from a first tier public school in Texas. I do not feel like I know anything of value in Finance, I can do the basic math and know the general concepts but that is it. I do not have a deeper understanding of anything. I feel like I haven't learned anything after I finished my undergrads. I was fairly passionate then, used to read a lot of WSJ, WSO and /r/finance back then but now it is all about job security and a stable future.

I have zero confidence in my skill set I need some guidance. Thank you!
