Firmsconsulting

Hi Monkeys,

Has anybody tried training from firmsconsulting?

They have two books:

  • How to succeed in management consulting
  • Partnership (apparently you have to wait 2 years to get this book!)

Has anybody tried these/have a copy? What's your opinion/how useful? What are they relevant for i.e. what stage of your career?

They also have training for cases - one-on-one coaching and online videos. Have you tried these? What's your take?

I know you don't need this sort of training just to get in. Many people do just fine with Victor Cheng's materials + practice. The idea is to not just scrape in but to go in with very strong foundations for MR-LR success. I get a sense that FC training does this. Whats your opinion?

They also have training for strategy skills. This looks very interesting to me - kind of like BIWS or TTS training for consultants. Has anybody tried their programs? How useful? What did you learn Your opinion?

Thanks for taking the time out monkeys. Best of luck!
