Firmsconsuting or lillilooloo

Anyone know anything about the people at firmsconsulting.com? They claim to have been partners at top 3. But for partners they don't have much web presence.

I was wondering if purchasing services from them was a good idea. Any experience?

Thanks,

Content on the site is golden, and they are based out of my beloved Toronto, so eventually I'll try them...

they are selective and purposefully have a small web presence; they turn down applicants who they know they wont be able to place in a consulting firm... its a different approach

Get it!

In my opinion (take it for what it is worth), the stuff on their website is pretty solid. The extent to which this guy seems to be a RB homer always lead me to believe that he was a partner at RB. I could be wrong.

His descriptions of the consulting lifestyle are a bit extreme compared to what I've seen in the U.S., but in general his advice seems sound.

I agree that their website has a lot of good content, I have enjoyed reading it. My question is: how is their business even close to financially interesting for (multiple!) ex consulting partners? My impression is that they have at few dozen students a year, at about $4000 per student. So tops, this website is pulling in a little over $100k/yr, and it appears the coaches invest a lot of time in each student, and a lot of time in generating content.

I am sure this is not a full time job for any of these guys, but if you were an ex-partner, previously pulling in $500k+ per year, does this make sense? Unless they are doing it out of the goodness of their heart, it doesn't add up for me. Curious to hear what others think.
