Has anyone ever been questioned by a current employer/manager for activity on LinkedIn?
It seems like follow a new firm every month or so. Not that I feel it's going to really help me in any way but as an index for firms I could see myself exiting to (in a few years). I'm happy where I am now but when it comes time to explore, I'll already have a starting point. I'm at a tiny shop now (
*Trigger for this post: I followed a headhunting firm... I could easily spin the fact that I followed Stout Risius Ross because I value their dispute and legal publications or whatever. But following a HH firm screams "I'm seeking new employment". Just curious if anyone has ever been called out for it and how you handled it.
Might be dangerous but I doubt your MDs have time to follow your activity on LinkedIn.
Can you not make it private?
