Intern Signing Bonus
i am currently an intern at a bb. what is the norm for a signing bonus if offered a position? i am hearing from $3k-20K. and can interns at the same firm get different bonuses?

Career Resources
Depends on the bank, but the majority will get $10k. Evercore pays $25k and Centerview paid $50k last year (not sure if that's a one-off thing or not). Usually it's subject to some kind of clawback where you'll have to pay back all or some of it if you don't finish your full two or three year stint. Everyone gets the same signing bonus.

Do all BB give a signing bonus? Do they also pay overtime?
t believe all BBs pay overtime while an intern only. once you work ft you are subject to bonuses and no overtime. i believe they all pay signing bonuses, but the amount may differ. from previous response it looks like it is around $10k.
surprised its still only $10k. Citi ops gave me $10k signing five and a half years ago. Figured front office would've increased by now.

65,000 pro-rated for 40 hours/week for 10 weeks, and then 1.5X overtime.
10,000 sign on pro rated for 10 weeks.
How do they go from a pro-rated salary and convert that to 40 hours/week?
Just simple math. 52 weeks in a year. 65,000/52 = 1,250 a week. 1,250/40 = 31.25 an hr
70k base salary pro-rated + 2k housing stipend.

Did they state the hourly rate in your offer letter?
$70k pro-rated + $2k relocation. Works out to around $13k for the summer. A couple banks pay overtime as well, usually 0.5x your hourly rate. Banks in CA pay 1.5x OT because of labor laws, so interns there make bank. I have a buddy that made nearly $40k during his summer.
$85k pro-rated + $15k relocation (international) + $15k "SA" sign-on bonus + 2.5x overtime for over 40 hours a week, so all in around ~$50k - $75k total

Interns in California making bank is true. Because of Cali labor laws.
