Freshman at a CC w/ hopes of BB IB or Big 4 Management Consulting
This is my first post so I apologize for any errors.
I am hoping for advice / review that I am on the right track to a BB M&A then eventually PE vs Management Consulting with a Big 4.
I am currently a Freshman at a local CC w/ a GPA of 3.8 , After next year I plan on transferring to UMich , NYU , or Cornell w/ a major a in Economics or Finance depending on where I attend.
I had a spring (Jan-May) unpaid internship with a boutique bank (5m-500m) that is ending today actually!
Also currently I am working as an Accounting Intern at a medical manufacture start-up/seed capital group. Did a brief couple month at M&T as a Customer Service Rep and had to leave because people don't understand total balance vs available balance ! I was a Licensed Sales Rep with a Allstate Agency Out of high school that i did for roughly a year.
Extracurricular: CEO Club Officer, Leadership Development Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Mens League Soccer, and random volunteering.
Again any advice or general guidance would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thank you,

Just make sure you transfer to a good school. At the rate your going, you'll definitely be in line to get good internships Sophomore and Junior year. Also please make sure to live a little, go out, and do something exciting that will make the interviewer think you actually have a soul.
worklikeamachine Im doing a lot of traveling this summer so hopefully that will add some "soul". But will the community college stigma of "not adequate" deter my chances when I apply for some of the higher level internships with bigger names. whats your thoughts?
Once you transfer out to a good school. Don't put community college on there, don't mention it in your interviews, and don't talk about it period. Banks will assume you went there for 4 years.
