From the Courtroom to Closing Private Equity deals
Hello everyone
So I am new here and I am glad to be here.
I need advice on what to do to work in a Private equity firm as an associate. I currently practice as a lawyer with no finance background. I have never enjoyed going to court; I would rather resort to mediation than engage in Litigation. I got interested in private equity especially venture capital last year and i have been doing some personal reading. I want to work in a private equity firm, not as a lawyer but be actively involved in closing deals. I know it is a gradual process but I am willing to do the grunt work to get there.
What are your suggestions or advice?
Thank you
