i dont see why they can't wipe him out, or why they shouldn't, unless those wiretap quotes in the articles are made up. It doesnt matter if hes brown white black yellow or red. It wasn't just one trade with some questionable insider information. What he did was over a long period of time, and he went about placing ppl in firms he traded... media coverage or not, SEC is going to make an example out of him. And it just so happened the ppl listed are mostly indians + 1 white female. He might have been a good trader, but hes not going to get the benefit of the doubt if anything looks fishy.

I havent had time to read much about this does anyone know why they they had wiretaps on them to begin with? What about the evidence they have against him just how bad is it?

The gains they made relative to the risks they take if getting caught are really assanine. Its things like this that is like picking up pennies in front of a bulldozer.

bigballing:
cruz12=moron. to even imply that what RR did with Einhorn's work on ALD is beyond preposterous. Read his book...that is what you call DUE DILIGENCE you retard.

first off, your sentence. how does that one go, people in glass houses....?

I'm assuming you meant that they're not the same thing. No, they're not, but for the case of our (my) argument, both were illegal trading that should have been acted against by the SEC. And so the SEC's prosecutions do seem to be selectively brought - this has been proven by numerous other cases as well.

...the evidence is horrible. Read the complaint that was unsealed yesterday...its actually very entertaining. They have multiple incidents of the 3 getting inside information and trading on it with the entire conspiracy taking place on recorded lines. Just the excerpts I read in that complaint are enuff to make it an open and shut case. All 3 (Raj, Kurland, Chiesi) are going to jail. I would put good money on it. Chiesi is even on tape saying that if this were to get out she'd be heading to jail "like martha fucking stewart"...she was right!
