Getting a FT offer

I am currently a summer intern at a BB. Got the job through connections so I am not actually in the intern class. Was wondering how I can convert this into a FT offer being that I am not in the normal recuritin channels.

How are you separate from the other interns? Different timing? Different work? I just don't get what you mean by saying that you're not in the intern class because you got the position via connections.

Regardless, I would definitely talk about full-time opportunities with your boss, especially before they give out the offers to the rest of the intern class.

Different timing, I am one of the few that sit on my floor and haven't been given real solid training. It doesn't feel like they are positioning me with the intent of giving me a full-time offer. Should I bring it up with the MD who I report to the or the associate who I actually interact with.
