Go where makes you happy. Get good grades, but still experience college. Don't take college too serious, but that is not to say to blow off your courses. Have a good time, be diligent, profit. More than half the battle is having a direction. You will be fine.
That's a tough decision right there, Oxford is a goood name.

Thanks for your input. Just one more question, is it very hard to get internships at US while studying in UK? I heard the VISA is difficult to get. But considering that UK breaks are different from US breaks maybe it's not that bad...?
It's clear that you're an international student and despite what many people in the US think, the two most prestigious universities in the world are still Oxford and Cambridge, even more so than Harvard (I would say that Harvard would be third).
While UCLA has a good reputation in California, many people outside the US would think there's no difference between UCLA and LSU or Florida or somewhere like that.

... I'm not so sure about that, I don't think it's so cut n dry

I also think that Oxford program has room for a 6 month internship as well. I know when I was a summer intern there was someone from that program from Oxford who did the summer internship and then stayed on for the rest of the year as part of his program for credit. He was interning in equity research at a BB.
I am an American going to Oxford and I can say recruiting is great. We are on our 6 week spring break and interning at a hedge fund in London (do interning is possible). I am a postgrad so I don't know of you can do a 6 month placement.
I would honestly tell ou that you are crazy if you don't go to Ox. The name recognition and automatic respect you get from going here is amazing. I went to a non target undergrad and really respect this aspect.
Also you will have so much time off of school to vacation and network that it makes for a great lifestyle.
Come to Oxford and have a blast and go home with a cool international experience to talk about and good internships under your belt.
I originally wanted to go to Oxford but was afraid that it would disadvantage me. But from what you guys said, I think Oxford will be quite a good choice.

Thanks!
You would be a fool to not go to Oxford.

Personally I'd go with Oxford. I wouldn't trade that opportunity for anything below HYPS.
Thanks to all!

Thanks again! :)
