Got an SA offer and signed: what are my next steps?

Basically, what are the next steps after you sign an offer?
When do they send you the backgorund check papers?
When should one start looking for housing (my understanding asap since NYU fills up so fast)?
When do people start networking for group selection?
Is there anything else that will need to be done before the start of the internship?

The reason I am asking is that I want to have a more or less precise timeline, since I will be out of the country for several weeks in between now and the start of my program. I would appreciate any advice. (Already used the search button and read about housing).

Your next step is to go out and drink several beers and celebrate. You'll get everything you need to do in the mail over the next few weeks.

Thanks guys! I am only concerned that they might send me the background check forms (or some other documents?) during the time I will be abroad, so I was trying to get a grasp on timing. Also, is spring break a common time for future interns to network with potential groups they might be interested in?
