GPA from all schools attended or just graduated from?
Hi guys,
I'm looking down the line at when I'll be thinking of going and getting my MBA and am wondering if admissions counselors are going to want all my transcripts from all the schools I attended and will they be looking at the total GPA from all the schools I attended or would they be looking at my transcripts from just the school I graduated and just that GPA.
There's a huge difference as I completely screwed around and got something under a 2.0 at my first school but then went to a CC and then a decent sized state school but certainly not a top school. I have a 3.85 with a 3.9 in accounting at this school. My cumulative would drop to something like a 3.2 over all those schools.
I'm looking into and have started some extracurriculars that I'm hoping will bolster my application.
They pretty much all specifically request transcripts from every school that you attended (I'm in the same boat as you). You will need to show them the transcript from your first school.
They will want everything.
Ouch so does that means I'll be applying with the 3.3 GPA?
This will be a uphill battle.
