Graduating in three years: What to say in interviews?
Hey Monkeys, I'm a rising junior from a non-target (top 50 school) and I'll be graduating in three years. I know it's a little confusing, but basically that means I just finished my first year at college and I have two more to go. As such, I'll be recruiting this fall/winter for junior internships. I've done a lot of networking this spring/summer to the point where I'm confident I'll be getting good referrals at a decent number of firms, including MBB. My questions is: How will my gradating in three years be perceived by recruiters/interviewers? Is it something I should make sure to highlight to show my drive, academic ability, and career focus; or should I avoid talking about it too much in case it makes me look too young or inexperienced? I appreciate any help you can provide! Thanks
Talk about it if you have a life outside of class, avoid it if you don't.
Because it's hard to do and you've done it.
