Green Card processing at MBB

Hi,

I am interested in joining MBB, but I am currently on H1b Visa and my Visa is expiring soon.

Does anyone know how if MBB apply for green card right away after you join? or if you have to wait before they apply, how long is the wait?

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies

Yeah, I am sure they would figure it out.

But, my current company is ready to start the GC processing right now, so I am wondering how much would transferring to MBB delay my GC process. Therefore I am curious to find out how much you have to wait to start GC processing at these companies.... and I didn't feel comfortable asking my MBB contacts about this ... so any input about the timeline would be appreciated!

Don't be stupid. Wait until you get your GC if your company is already starting the processing, and then jump ship with plastic in hand. Otherwise you risk ending up with no job and no GC.

it was stated in my MBB letter of offer that the earliest they will start the GC process is after 18 months as an associate; and this is dependent on your performance at the firm.
