HandsOn3 / HGM
Currently a rising sophomore at a target school. Networking hard for opportunities next summer. End goal is to be in Private Equity. I've read many of the posts on WSO, but want to hear a perspective on this.

Has anyone heard of HandsOn3 (now known as HGM- Hands On Global Management)?

How would a MM PE firms value an internship with HGM versus one with a top boutique bank? Should I be focusing my efforts on investment banking and the subsequent exit ops at PE firms? Would PE firms value interns with more technical banking knowledge or someone who is generally "smart" and can pick up what they need to be successful?

I've read a lot of comparisons on consulting vs banking as a prior career for PE. Being at a target school I have the option of MBB in consulting to BB and top boutiques (I got to the second round of McK for an internship this summer from pure networking). How would an Apollo or Bain Capital rank McK to a GS or Lazard?
