HBS 2+2 - MBA application?

Hey everyone,
I have a questions regarding HBS 2+2, as this randomly came up today talking with a few friends: If one were to apply to the 2+2 program and get rejected, would this be a problem for future, regular MBA applications at Harvard?

In my opinion, it shouldn't really matter, but then again, I'm not an expert on the matter.

Thanks everyone in advance.

No, the initial decision for 2+2 should have no bearing on future decisions. Keep in mind that the 2+2 program was designed for non-traditional paths. There are plenty of people that will fit into the HBS cohort, but deferred admissions is not necessary.

Yeah, I realize that. But I also read recently that despite the program being for non-business majors, they seem to have taken a liking towards business major as well considering that they (if I remember correctly) didn't want to accept them at all in the first intakes.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA

No, the major has virtually nothing to do with your acceptance. It's your overall picture. Where and what did you read this information?
