Based on my research, they don't have a great reputation and pay looks meh. I am currently working BO for a BB firm and trying to transition into IBD. Do you think I would have decent exit ops if I went with them, or would it reflect badly? At least it would be finance heavy unlike what I am doing now...

Very top heavy firm that is not great for advancement, and most of the stuff you would be doing is more accounting/consulting, than actual IB. Also pay is substandard. I have not met anyone who has had experience with them in the past speak well of it.
I guess it is a question of which is more likely to help me eventually land a good IBD role: a below average FO role, or a non-finance BO role at a BB. I would be inclined to say the former, but I am interested to hear thoughts on this.
Most relevant threads on this topic point to the former. I would have to agree.
Plus, you're going to dread your job if you're only using it to end up somewhere else within the same company.
