Hedge and Private Equity Fund
Hi -
I just started as an Fund Analyst (Manage a portfolio of Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds) and still trying to wrap my head around it all. Does anyone have recommendations of what books to read? I would really love something that explains the operations side of hedge funds (e.g. income, expense, capital calls) in detail, i.e., why they are done and what they mean. Also, something that explains how Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds work with underlying funds or a limited partners stand point. There are hundreds of books out there and I don't want to spend a ton of money on anything and spend too much time reading the same stuff over and over from multiple books. I would prefer if there is one or two books that cover these items I have stated as my time is limited with work a being a full-time student.
I hope this made sense.
Thank you!
Hello, Hedge funds regularly hold an expansive scope of investments, including a few investments that are not accessible to shared finances, and can have a boundless lifespan. Then again, private value stores gain and hold the load of specific organizations more than a generally long time and regularly assume control over the management of these organizations. Private equity funds supports for the most part have a constrained lifespan of around 10 to 12 years. Both types of funds can yield significant yields and have a little gathering of extensive institutional financial specialists, regularly including tax-exempt associations. Thanks Zarajohn@
