hello friends,
I've recently got a job for Product control - risk with one of the leading I Bank. I'm a CFA Level 2 Candidate & MBA(Finance). I just wanna know that can this job help me to get into Risk Managment Roles (i.e Market Risk) in near future ?

Ensuring that all the daily
Ensuring that all the daily P&L are sent within the agreed timeline
Ensure that the Daily,MTD & YTD commentaries are in place for all the P&L books
Managing the expectations of FO & redesigning the P&L file template as per there requirements
To drive the completeness and accuracy of the Actual reported P&L by taking a role in liaising with Front office.
Liasing with various internal teams such as Recons; Market Risk & Valuations teams.
To drive and strengthen the relationship between the Product Control and other teams such as FO,MO to enable seamless information flow and rapid resolution of issues
Ensure that all the provisions & Px testing number adjustments provided by valuations group are reported in the daily P&L
Be actively involved on any UAT testing with SG & HK teams on any rollouts of products / strategies
To own the process of reviewing the portfolios
