Hey all! New guy, need some advice!

I've been a reader of the forum for some time, and I finally joined a few days ago. As it stands, I'm only in community college, and I'm half way through my lower division courses. I'm a cali resident, and I'm looking at getting into CSU Fullerton. I'm dead set on majoring in finance and minoring in economics. I want to break into Asset Management. I was hoping to maybe get some advice on how to go about getting into the field - different schools I could look at, what to expect on the job, needing an MBA - anything helps! also, I live in San Luis Obispo, and I should be moving back to southern Cali in the next few weeks, once this semester ends for me. If anyone in the San Luis area or LA, OC, or IE areas have some extra time on there hands in the next few weeks, I would LOVE to meet with you and get some insight into the fields and actually talk face-to-face with someone. Thank you guys for any advice or help, all of it's greatly appreciated!
