Hi, nice to meet y'all!

Hi, WSO, I'm brand new to this website, definitely hoping to find some advice and guidance from this community. I'm currently a sophomore at a West Coast target school, with a long-term goal of pursuing IB at a BB (dream big, right?). In terms of my short term goals, this spring and the rest of the summer, I'd really love to try to get as much professional exposure to the industry, and I was wondering if anybody had any tips for me, coming from a background with no professional experience in IB. This can range anything from a great internship program you felt gave you a lot of practical and experiential knowledge to just general advice.

I'm also wondering whether gaining some experience in commercial banking the rest of this semester would be a good use of my time. I would appreciate any guidance whatsoever; completely new to this website, so not quite sure to expect!
