Highschool student, soon to be college student, worried about low test scores?

So I was just accepted into Emory University in Atlanta Georgia and I was happy about this because although I realize it's not a target, I still felt through networking I could achieve my goals of working at a bank and I toured the campus and it was gorgeous and overall it was just a great fit for me.

The problem is for the SAT, I did absolutely horrible. I took it my junior year and wasn't really motivated for some reason even though obviously I should have been. I scored a 2060/2400 and math was my worst subject because I didn't study at all for it and honestly I always score better on reading for standardized tests.

My parents won't let me take it again because money is pretty short at the moment and they think it's ridiculous since I already got into college and that even if jobs ask for it they won't really look it as much as they will my college GPA. However from searching through these forums it seems like many companies will literally just cut you if you don't have a 2100+ right off the bat.

I'm just feeling really discouraged about this whole situation because for the past year I've realized that banking is what I want to do with my life but it feels futile if I'm just going to be ignored because I did poorly on one test (albeit a very important one...). So like with an SAT like this and the fact I'm competing against people with perfect SAT's + Ivy league educations is it just kinda useless to want to go into this field or am I overreacting or like somewhere in between?

Thanks, I apologize if I'm overreacting or misinformed.

Also I don't really have the heart to argue with my parents about the SAT situation anymore because my father is paying out of pocket for my education which is turning out to be very very expensive, not much financial aid for some reason :(.

It's a stretch to say that scores don't matter whatsoever during recruiting, as a lot of places will ask you for your SAT/ACT. With that said, old standardized tests aren't an end all be all by any means, and 2060 isn't an awful score either. I would not worry about this - just focus on getting good grades and building a good network in the next couple years.
