These two places are pretty different in terms of experience. I've heard good things about JPM PWM but have more knowledge abot HL FAS. FAS as you probably have read on this forum is not an investment banking group at HL and its primary focus is on Fairness Opinions, Portfolio Valuations, PPA and so on. You'd get great tech skills, but in terms of transaction, presentation and client experience it's lacking, think glorified accounting (the valuation practice at Duff & Phels comes to mind). If you're a very technical guy, this place can be for you. As for the exits, I could argue since you're facing more PW customers and build better client skills, the exits could be better at JPM + name recognition. Not sure about MBA stats. Hope this helps. Oh, almost forgot - I've heard plenty of hot girls at JPM PB!
