How can I talk about my AM SA experience?
I worked at a relatively small, flat AM shop and got a lot of responsibility as an SA. I single handedly wrote 3 buy side research reports on 3 separate companies. Is it a good idea to list the companies in my resume? Something like:
- Wrote comprehensive buy side research reports on Company X (Ticker), Company Y (ticker) and Company Z (ticker)
I know the companies inside and out and am totally comfortable taking questions on them. Should I just pick one or two that I really know and talk about those instead?
- Wrote comprehensive buy side research reports on 3 companies, including Company X, a $XX M payment transaction firm
Which one looks better?
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. Feel free to put "wrote ER report on a $50 billion market cap, Texas-based energy company" or something like that.
