How do so many people seem to have SA offers already?

I'm a junior at a target school, and while I know a few people at my school who have received offers (BB's), most of our resume drops aren't even until next month. Even the non on-campus internships I've applied to, I haven't heard back from yet regarding interviews. How is that people have already gone through the entire process and are deciding between offers in November? It seems really early, unless I'm missing something. What's the secret?

My banks runs earlier stage SA interviews for some target groups (eg women), with the regular program to follow in Jan-Feb.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.
