How do you beat stress?
I am sure everyone on this forum face numerous stressful situations at work/school on a daily/weekly basis.
So how do you beat it? And how do you manage to overcome the stress and not let it affect your mood or take it out on your family/co-workers?
Saw this article and thought it shared a couple of good tips on overcoming stress.
Don't over commit. Whether in your personal or professional life, learn your limits and set boundaries. Know when to say, "No!" Don't take on more than you can reasonably handle.
Stop stressing over little things. So much stress comes from getting worked up over petty little things--such as the person driving slowly in front of you, or listening to someone who has an opposing view on an insignificant subject. Use your self-control to ignore the little things that bug you.
Don't try to control the uncontrollable. Many things in life are beyond our control, including the behavior of other people. Rather than stressing out over them, focus on the things you can control, such as how you should respond to them.

By taking rest or take hours of sleep i can remove my stress. I don't know about others but this way is good for me.
nothing revolutionary... running, meditation, glass of malbec, mindfulness, sports (soccer / baseball), time with friends away from the computer, laying in the park, kayaking in the nearby river delta
Surrounding yourself in any colour you find soothing can help bring on calm. The theory behind the use of colour therapy is that colours enter the eyes, which then send messages along the nerve pathways to the area of the brain that regulates emotion.
What are your masturbation habits like? Like Mcconaughey said; those numbers need to go up. A more effective implementation is to jerk off to an excel model; slowly go down one variable at a time until you climax.
Fishbowl parties
Those three points are all useful. Especially the first two, I have found.
To decompress I read, usually some light fiction, and play guitar. Any instrument will help alleviate stress in my mind.
Self-medicating with drugs and alcohol.
exercise during the day and finding time to relax with music or friends where you can get mind off work or tasks that cause stress
I often find greifing people in video games, especially dark souls 1 using a twink build in the undead burg, is incredibly therapeutic. Getting hate mail is almost as good.
Also running, gardening, and reading aren't bad either.
You gotta get off one way or another...
