i don't know about canada, but this is my experience (i worked for deloitte in major office, non nyc)

1st year analyst (straight out of undergrad): ~55-60k 2nd year analyst: ~60-65k

1st year analyst (w/ masters straight out of undergrad): ~60-65k 2nd year analyst: ~65-70k

no signing bonuses for any recent class that i am aware of...largely due to the fact that people will take any job for almost any pay given our shitty economy.

Yes, I was talking about S&O, but that's what I assumed the OP meant when he said strategy analyst (not a real title - OP probably meant business analyst). But yes, starting salary is dependent on the school you're going to, the office you'll be working in, and what other offers you have. I've heard of the starting base salary being as high as 75K.
