How rich do YOU have to be to quit Wall Street???
How much money would YOU personally need to quit wall street and retire? then live your dream life
What is your dream amount of cash? and dont say a billion unless you really want to get up to that.
'bout tree fiddy
I'll tell you when I have a better understanding of the costs of having a family. Long way to go
$10MM -> done -> fuck you -> peace out
5 million dollar you can make a perpetuity that pays you 200k each year, assuming a 4% rate.
how ugly are you?
that's what it comes down to
not about the money, it's about winning.
50m tho.
“It is not enough merely to win; others must lose.”
BlackHat's got it right. It's all about the game.
It ain't nothin' but a scoreboard kid. Once you get to 10, you want 50... once you get to 50 you want 100. Never ending circle of greed.
What would Gordon Gekko say ?
3M liquid. 2M house fully paid.
9MM HEATERS
This is going to sound ridiculous but ever since reading the Jim Leitner interview in Inside the House of Money, running my own family office has seemed like best job I could ever think of. It apparently takes a net worth of 100 Million to make that a viable proposition, so there you go. Any gains above 2 Bill would automatically go into a conservatively managed GoodBread Foundation, focused on eradicating world hunger.
however much an inflation-protected annuity that pays me $250k/year costs.
Do the math and give us a number
i've actually done the math before... any suggestions on a discount rate? and average life expectancy of the American male is 75 years, so i would be collecting over 50 years if i were to retire today.
steven ridley went to Rio with 150 bucks and STILL had sex with a Swedish gurl
jus' don't do too many raw dogs... shortees expensive brah
Swagon is Swagon's troll account, c'mon now.
Buffett's still here after $44B + chump change
100MM
10-20 milli would be enough for me
10mm should do for me
Its not enough that I succeedd, others must fail.
Especially those around you
eh beat me to it
100
More
5mm I'm out.
I'm not a Troll, I got my shirt tucked in and my shoes tied tight.
All i wanna do is have fun with my luvved ones. If that means stackin' a few bills in San Fran or NY, so be it.
If that means sittin' courtside with Beyonce, so be it. Stop hatin' on my game. I just play it to play.
Y'all sound like a bunch of Winklevosses
Not sure. I want 4 years of private undergrad paid for each of my kids. I wasn't able to go to the undergrad school I wanted, I don't want money to be an issue for their decisions. So that's 200k for each kid (probably more by the time I get around to having them). Don't really want too crazy of a house. I was just thinking about franchising restaurants to supplement my income... quick read showed that Chickfila's net store owners 100k a year, while Bojangles brings in 330k.

As long as I can have a few cars, keep the wife happy, I'm not looking to be an oil barron or anything. I want to get out early too... 45 would be nice.
