How to go from tech to vc?
I'm a senior at an HYP school, and have landed a software engineering gig at a big tech company (one of Google/Facebook) for after graduation. I'm not sure I see myself being an engineer forever, and being a vc seems like it could be an interesting route. Is engineering -> vc a doable transition? Would I need to get an MBA (my GPA is not great so I doubt I could get into HSW)? Or should I try and move into a PM role internally after a couple of years before trying to make the jump?
