Charles Tyrwhitt Suits
Does anyone have experience with their suits? The suits look pretty sharp and are priced well for a young guy like me. It looks like you can order a suit and actually choose the waist size for the pants, which beats having to get pants re-cut.
They're decent quality. I bought a few last year and was very happy with them.
Love their shirts, never had time to do a fitting. They are sharp suits however.
Decently priced. Wears pretty quickly tho despite being super 120s. Check out Suit Supply - Can get reasonably priced suits, more modern cuts and more durability http://us.suitsupply.com/suits/Suits,en_US,sc.html
Paul Betenly makes nice suits for a good price.

How's the fit of Charles Tyrwhitt Suits?? (Originally Posted: 04/29/2014)
I decided to visit the DC store today instead of ordering shirts online again, and I noticed the suits seemed to be very decent quality. I didnt have enough time to try them on but I am curious about the fit in the leg.
My issue is that I often ride a road bike for cardio so my quads are pretty big. I usually end up having to buy separates. I saw on WSO that SuitSupply pants are pretty slim, is CT similar or roomier?
Any of you guys have similar issues with fit/ found a good brand of suit that works?
Hello fellow massive guy, I have one - it's okay. I see them more as suits you just don't give a shit about. Quality is alright, but nothing to scream about. And because of the price I can dribble and spill food on myself all I want without worry. They're snug around the quads when sitting.
Ahh, welcome to the club guys.
I have a CT suit, I like it and consider it a good beater suit as @"Oreos" mentioned. I sized up on the pants and had my tailor take in the waist. Clearance for $300 I consider it a great deal
Thanks guys. So as long as it fits alright in the quads I should be alright if I take it to a tailor for the waist? Sounds like a plan.
I've had some luck with Ralph Lauren suits but I'm searching around for some other brands for variety. Any other brands you guys have had success with?
I believe CT has a good return policy, if your tailor can't fix it you can bring it back. Though something has simple as taking in the waist shouldn't cause any issues
I've used a few MTM suits (Dragon Inside and Indochino) with pretty good results, but its kind of a hassle to get everything right. A friend uses a tailor from Hong Kong that does trips to the states a few times a year, I am trying that out next.
If you're going to spend $700 on a suit go with Brooks on sale or an MTM shop like Dragon Inside, MyTailor, or Enzo Custom.
OK awesome, thanks for the help
Stopped at a Brooks Brothers outlet today and picked up a 346 suit. I know its not the same quality as the product in the retail stores, but the pants fit perfectly. Only some waist suppression for the jacket is needed.
Seems like it will be a good beater suit. When I have more time I'm definitely going to get a MTM suit or two made.
