I Have No Idea What To Do (please help) (internship related)

I am a sophomore at a semi-target with around a 3.4 GPA and I have no idea what to do. Last summer I had a boutique IB internship so I was thinking I would just land one this semester. The problem is my damn school decides to teach us accounting our last semester so when it comes to interviews I would get screwed. I purchased BIWS thinking I could just nail the concepts, but looking at it I am ****** - if they ask questions in an interview I will be clueless. I dont knew where to start!

The other thing is, last summer I interacted with a clients and most of them told me that I have the charisma for sales or something on the market side - pitching to people (I led some company pitches/fielded questions) Even my friends dad who is an interdealer broker pretty much said you need to work here.

I think I am putting myself on the wrong path BUT I need something for the summer!

And looking at the BIWS stuff made me realize how mundane this shit actually is but I can deal with it.

QUESTION

How in depth are the interviews regarding accounting questions?

how screwed am I? Lay it on me

Maybe be prepared for a question like the CapEx charge, but it's most important to properly elaborate on the three financial statements - what are they and how are they connected (Dep Exp derived from PP&E, interest exp derived from debt, etc)

Also know what makes a good company (FCF, high margins, growth...)

Focus on the behavioral questions. Have your story down, and be normal during the interview. The WSO guides are a fantastic place to start...

this is what my friend said who is GS ER - just know the connections between all of them, but don't expect specific intense questions such as the first poster

have both WSO guides btw

I banana back
