IB: Windows Version and MS Office Version?
To the bankers out there, which version of windows and which version of MS Office are you currently using at the office? I'm getting ready to hit the books with the modeling and I want to make sure I'm practicing on the right stuff. Thanks.
Keen to know this as well
You know this is a non issue right? Short-cuts on excel/word/PPT have been updated to carry over from version to version lol
Yeah, except the most recent short cuts wont work on older versions you idiot
For sure relax kid. By the way, if you REALLY want to know, how about you fucking e-mail someone that actually works at the bank where you'll be doing your internship. smh
Investment banks are slow lumbering monolithic institutions, so they don't change software too often. I am at a BB bank, and we use Office 2010. Most of the short cut keys from 2007 work for 2010 and 2013.
We use Windows 7 and Office 2010. Office 2013 is terrible and slow. I would avoid it.
Have you ever heard of a boutique or MM that uses Mac OS.
Even if they use Word/Excel for Mac?
