I'm a student of University of Waterloo
I created this account approximately 1 year ago, but did not use it very frequently. I will begin to study at University of Waterloo this fall as a student in mathematics department. My dream is to work at some PE companies, but I don't know what specific major should I take. In University of Waterloo, we have a lots of majors in mathematics department, for example Actuarial Science, Mathematical Finance etc. Could some tell me what major could be more helpful if I want to break into PE please? Thank you in advance!
Transfer to Ivey.
This. You're not going to get a lot of corporate finance opportunities out of waterloo.
Thanks for replying. Since Ivey is a 2+2 program, what should I do before my junior year to increase the opportunity of transfer? Would please give me some advice please? Thanks in advance.
GPA, extracurricular leadership activities, and internships. Same shit that you'd do to land an IB job/get into college in the first place.
I'm not going to answer your question about why Waterloo is garbage for IB.
