Importance of Prestige of Business School
I am an undergraduate at the Kelley School of Business, and am considering transferring. I know Kelley is a good business program, but it does not carry the same prestige as many other business programs on Wall Street.
How much does where you go matter after you get your first job? I will be graduating amongst the top in my class here so I think I can land a solid job on Wall Street (again, i THINK). Would I be better off graduating near the top at Kelley, or be merely average at Stern (IF I am accepted as a transfer).
Ten years down the road, is it going to matter how prestigious my business school was?
