Deloitte Discovery Internship Program

Has anyone ever heard of, or have any experience with this program. I have an interview with them, but it seems back office. (i think HR)

I want to get into banking or management consulting eventually. But I have no other real work experience. I'm doubtful I can get other offers, even PWM. I am waiting to hear back form some other places, but not expecting anything.

So for a sophomore at a target, with a decent gpa and a non-traditional major, would this be a good choice? How would I stack up next year? Can I turn this internship, assuming HR, into a SA gig next summer?

Thanks

Thanks for your thoughts Leverage, I should have been more specific. It is in there shared services division. Euphemism for back office? Anyway, here is the exact description:

From some of the Managing Directors, Directors, and VP's of some BB that I have talked to. Doing a Summer Leadership Program or Internship with the Big 4 is not going to look bad. Especially if you're a sophomore in college and you don't have anything else lined up. However, after you get it down on your resume I would try to shoot for something related to finance next Summer.

Sounds like a guided (Mentored) Big 4 internship. Pay will probably be around $25.00 an hour, plus extra for overtime.

thanks sounds good. I was told by the recruiter that I would do some time in audit, tax, financial advisory, and consulting and then the following summer I would choose one to concentration. Anyone else?
