Information session-->offer?
Has anyone ever gotten a first round interview through an information session without OCR. If so, how? Just curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I don't understand what you mean. If there's an info sesh at your campus, wouldn't there be OCR as well?
No, the location is at the particular bank. I got invited, so I RSVPed.
For schools in cities that have offices (ie. Columbia / NYU in NYC, UofChicago / Northwestnern in Chicago, etc), some banks will hold first round in their own offices even though they went to the schools for info sessions. Makes it easier for bankers as they don't have to travel and can be at their desk and productive during downtime.
Right indeed, however what if someone attends a non-target in NYC? Is there a chance for non-targets to get interviewed? Perhaps a select few, if they were pushed by senior bankers right?
I am not sure I follow you, but yes, it's obviously possible for candidates coming from non-targets to get interviews granted they have the right profile and managed to effectively network.
