Interned at fraudulent Hedge Fund-keep on resume?

I am a rising junior at a mid-target university looking to get an internship in Chicago or NYC, hopefully with a BB. With fall recruitment so close, I'm not sure if I should keep a hedge fund I interned at as a rising sophomore on my resume. I only worked there for 3 weeks and learned little before it got shut down by the FBI and SEC.

I would be inclined to keep it because 1) it shows that I can get hired 2) my only other work experience is from 2 years of my high school job which I resumed after the firm closed and my internship this summer at a boutique investment bank and 3) it can be a fun topic that some interviewers like to hear about

I want to remove it because 1) I learned pretty much nothing there and didn’t do any substantial work with results 2) It can be awkward going over with an interviewer when they ask a question about it because of my short time there. I usually answer by telling them it got shut down but I feel like I could come across as trying to avoid answering. 3) Besides seeing some interviewer’s eyes light up at the story, it really just distracts them from other parts of my resume that they could be asking questions about.

I want to be a unique candidate but I am unsure if this is what I am looking for. Additionally, if I take it off, interviewers might think that I wasn’t able to get an internship after my freshman year compared to my peers that did. I don’t really think I can bullshit it because I don’t want to lie. What are your thoughts?

Keep it, I got asked a lot about mortgage meltdown stuff during interviews due to having a bank that is no longer around listed on my resume. It was done casually, One director even prefaced it with "this isn’t part of the interview, but did you guys know or think prior at all that...." it was a great way to stand out. I got the job as well.
